Introduction
Since June Burke made her transition in February 8, 2005, people have been working hard to collect and catalogue Julian Teachings materials. Most of this work has involved keeping the materials as they are, but making sure that they are appropriately archived and saved for future reference. However, as time progresses, more people are creating new materials (articles, classes, workshops, or other forms) that are based upon or reference the Julian materials.
The Julian Teachings Advisory Board has started to see a need for providing a set of guidelines to help authors and teachers use the materials correctly and according to June and Julian’s directions. That is what this FAQ is all about. If you can’t find answers to your specific questions here, please contact Saul Srour.
Who owns the June Burke/Julian copyright now?
After June Burke made her transition, the copyright of the Julian Teachings materials (other than exceptions listed below) transferred to Saul Srour. This includes the Development Class, the Working Magus class, Self-Development, Transition Energies, the Mystical Magus meditations, booklets, books, and the many workshops that June and Julian gave over the years. This includes audios, videos, and written materials produced by June/Julian.
It is important to note that Saul does not have the copyright for information and materials given during private readings such as the Soul Astrology information received by Frank Wharton and the Kabbalah readings received by Robert Adamson. Who do I ask for permission to use or teach the materials?
Who you ask depends upon the materials:
- For the public workshops, books, and booklets contact Saul Srour.
- For Development, Self-Development, and Working Magus contact Saul Srour. Note that there is a teacher certification process for each of these extended-length classes.
- For Transition Energies and Mystical Magus contact Sam Holland. There is a teacher certification process for the Transition Energies class. Sam Holland is the only teacher for the Mystical Magus class per June’s wishes.
- If you are going to use information from private readings, the current owners (usually the person who got the reading) will be able to give permission.
We provide a form that you can use to request permission to use these copyrighted materials.
What do the Julian Teachings copyright references look like?
If you look carefully, you will see that all materials that Saul maintains are copyrighted. Those copyrights look like:

The notice indicates the year of the copyright. It says that Saul is the copyright owner, and then it clearly indicates that June and Julian are the authors. You might also see copyright blocks that look like this:

These copyright blocks also indicate what workshop, book or booklet it is, where and when it was given. Please use this information when you reference the material in your own documents or classes, if it is available.
For materials for which Saul does not have the copyright, the current copyright owners will specify the reference for you.
Can I write an article or class of my own creation that references the teachings?
We would love to see your articles or classes published or presented as long as you adhere to the following guidance:
- Please remember that the information from the Magus, Development, and TE classes is protected and should not be made available to the general public. These classes are only delivered by certified teachers, and the teachings are carefully designed to be giving in a specific sequence. These classes can potentially harm the unprepared, due to the very high vibrational energy that the teachings can achieve.
- Please make sure that you are clear about what information in your article/class/book is based upon the Julian Teachings, and what information is either your own or someone else’s.
- Please reference where you got the material, if it makes sense. What reading, class, workshop, booklet, or book did it come from? It is not necessary to have a reference for general statements such as, “Julian stated several times that we are now in control of our destiny.” However, specific statements that are important to a point and that could be disputed, such as “Julian said that Jesus had three children by Mary Magdalene” should have a reference. If you are writing an extended article you can have one statement, such as, “the material in this article was gathered from Julian’s workshop titled … ”
As noted in the question about the copyright, many of the copyright blocks indicate the class or workshop name, the location, and the date the materials was given. Please preserve that information if you can and if it makes sense.
- When you refer to what Julian said, we would prefer that you use an exact quote rather than to paraphrase the material. We know that is very difficult to do in some cases and at times it doesn’t make sense; please do your best.
- Please fill out the copyright permissions form and contact Saul Srour, with a cc to Camille Albrecht and Larry Scheer about your document or class. They can also help answer any questions that you might have.
Does my article need to be reviewed by anyone before I publish it?
If you are referencing June/Julian materials, please make sure that you talk to Saul before publishing your document. He might request to review it before you publish it.
In addition, we strongly suggest that you use the resources available to you from the Julian Teachings Advisory Board to review your document. Several of the members are excellent writers and editors. They can be very valuable resources if you wish to create a quality document.
Where can I publish my article?
We will not restrict where you publish your article as long as the intent is to benefit mankind and do no harm or disservice to others. If you document is not huge, consider publishing your document in the Ring of Light.
