EcoNIDRA™ is a branch of the Yoga Nidra tree where nidra meets nature. It is a blend of extremely deep relaxation with practices deepening our connection with the planet, with our closest nature, and our inner nature. On Friday 9/24/21, Terry Brown will lead a guided EcoNIDRA meditation lasting about 50-55 minutes. Using your senses, you will experience a trip connecting you with nature, your body, and using soundscapes to anywhere in the Universe your heart leads you. If you have a heartfelt wish, this is the perfect way to let it percolate and find a way to manifest. The EcoNIDRA practice stresses kindness for yourself, other beings, and the universe throughout.
About Terry
Terry is most often found in deep reflection outside. It is the one place that always called to her, a place of complete and total acceptance. Terry has been a student of the Julian teachings for many years, meditating, taking Self Development and Life after Death classes, and studying divination.
Terry retired early, which allowed time for in-depth reflection on her life’s path. This led to a practice that perfectly reflects her deep connection with nature, that of Shinrin-Yoku (Forest Bathing), also known as Nature and Forest Therapy. Terry attended a week-long immersion, then trained for certification as a guide with the ANFT (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs). In her practicum, she found communication with the more-than-human world to be a rich and rewarding practice; and, one whose lessons have also deepened her connection with humanity through nature’s examples of mutual respect, sharing of communal resources, place tending, and holding honored space for each being. It is Terry’s wish to share her connection to nature with others.
More recently Terry has become an EcoNIDRA Teacher, which is a perfect complement to her Forest Bathing work. Terry currently pursues her passions and resides in Michigan with her husband, Craig, and their furry companions.
