When Bonnie, Karen and I were having our first ‘face~to~face’ meeting on the organization of the upcoming 12th Gathering of Light we met in a small bakery in Campbell, CA. We had already shared ideas via email as to what would be a fitting theme. As our email discussion had progressed, we narrowed our list to only a few workable themes ~ with highlighted aspects of each theme that we could use as a guide to bring the Gathering of Light together. Like a ‘red thread’ that could be followed throughout the weekend, thus making each aspect part of a greater whole.

The theme that we felt most attracted to, as we were talking about it over our coffees, was “Inspire Your Life.” We were still weighing our options, and were about to come to a decision, when a girl walked into the bakery wearing a bright red T~shirt that read: “Inspired.”

We looked at each other and started laughing. We glanced again at the text on the shirt as the girl was putting in her order at the counter. Was this the result of a Higher Force? Was it June or Julian?
In any event, all three of us felt this was the confirmation we needed, and the decision was made quickly! We had the theme for the 12th Gathering of Light:
