Self-esteem

Self-esteem is believing in yourself and accepting that you are in control of you no matter what is going on.  It is respecting who you are and has nothing to do with education, wealth, occupation, or social level.  It is the God-given power of you.  You express it through your value system and your chosen standards.  When you are in touch with that inner higher self, you do like and love yourself. It is not self-loving of a self-centered person.  Self-centered love is not the balanced acceptance of who are, but rather an all consuming self-importance.

Always Remember: You Are Unique!

A few weeks ago in a phone call, a friend  recounted her story.  This hard-working woman, who was jobless two years by the recession, was down to her final pennies.  Any of us can easily imagine the emotions and frustration that accompany such a realization.  Seeking a diversion one evening, she began reading a book set aside some time ago: You Are Unique.  Julian’s words captured her imagination.  My friend was reminded of her relationship and oneness with God which supersedes all external affairs.  We are not the product of the news and statistics. This reminder set her thoughts at peace.  In the following days several options appeared to ease the acute situation.

This story moved me to pull You Are Unique off my book shelf.  It had been a while since reading the book.  In reading through those pages, a paragraph stood out that I want to share with you:

Poor in spirit means unable to let help come in.  Focusing on all that is wrong with you instead of something that is right with you does not help.  Know that where you use your energy is where the movement will occur.  The prince in you is that side that says, “I know it can happen, because I am working at it.” “I can.” “I can have an excellent day; I control my destiny.”  In that space you are a wealthy person.  You are recognizing that God is your source of all supply and that He will provide for you if you are willing to expend the energy yourself.  You are focusing on what is right with you and on what you can do.  If you are willing to work with the abilities that you have, you will, in turn, be guided to that which is right and proper for you.  It is the element of trust and acceptance within that make you a rich person.  In that way, you are focusing on all that is right with you and on all that your potential is.  You will, in that space, never be let down.

Remember to Find Your Center in These Unsettled Times

Planetary aspects in the last several years have presented us with continuing challenges.  Uranus and Pluto in transit are in an evolutionary spiral from their conjunction of the 1960s.  We are now living in a similar period of rapid change and social division.  This energy, because of its nature of breaking old patterns, naturally creates fear and a sense of uncertainty within people.  Yet this energy brings opportunity to those who take time to internally comprehend the energy.  If there is anything you wanted to do to change circumstance within your life – now is the time to do it.

What is important to remember in these times is to come from a point of unconditional love. This is the natural center point when things appear divisive.  Pluto makes us aware of the shadows within us that are transformed when light is shined upon it.  The initial glare of light may be a momentarily shock but the shadow is dissolved.  Uranus is the only planetary energy that affects us from the outside.  When Uranus breaks things down in our lives, it is telling us we are ready for growth.  Initiations are shocks, and Uranus excels in shocking.  No matter the planetary transits, remember you are a soul created from a Loving God.  That relationship forged in the light of unconditional love supersedes all.

Julian gave us the divinity affirmation which is so useful to remember in these times:

“There is a divinity within me that no man can destroy.

There is a light within me that only I can dim.

As I focus upon this light, it is my perfection, my protection, my very being.

It wells within me and fills me,
it surrounds me and protects me;
it releases me from all negativity and permits myself to move forward with
certainty that wholeness and light are mine.

And no thing or being can destroy it, for the Father and I are one and cannot be separated.

I know this with a certainty, I feel it and experience it.

God is, I am, and we are one.”

The Seven-Year Cycles

You enter the world as an energy, totally aware, totally open and totally knowledgeable.  Everything you need to achieve the goals in your life is given to you. You go through rounds of seven.  The seven-year cycles are a flow, a rhythm.  It is something not cut and dried.  You may feel it coming or going two years in advance or two years later as it builds, peaks, and wanes.

The seven-year cycles are an evolutionary spiral.  They belong to every being that has ever been created.  There is no one that does not go through with them.  Every seven years there is, within the system, a total change.  It is a soul’s demand to be seen as an individual, not as a collective.   At each seven-year round, there is an aggressiveness equal to the level of physical energy released.  That aggressiveness, if treated with respect and guided, can become a very powerful tool in the life of the individual.  If on the other hand, it is treated as a case of leprosy, if the individuals are shoved aside and not listened to, then there is going to be a buildup of that energy added to the next seven-year cycle.

In each seven-year cycle there is a complete body chemistry change and a need for unfoldment , a release from preconceived attitudes.  This gives a freedom which permits major change in attitudes, in relationships, and in career.

Each energy cycle is one of movement in relationship to man’s cycle of growth.  Man has been given everything he needs to make all the changes he wants to make in himself and his life, provided he listens to the reality of the inner self and is not guided solely by the external self.  The external guidance will have to do with the ego.  Ego permits you to move forward.  Without it, you might become too passive, but your inner reality guides you from your highest space.  The point is that there is a natural release of energy every seven years which encourages you to move forward and make changes.  It helps keeps you from getting stuck in a rut.  Flow with these cycles and you will find change less fearful.

What is Happiness?

Happiness is not the house, the car, the coat, or whatever. Happiness is being in the space you are in at any point in time and thoroughly permitting yourself to be one with what is going on. You have a statement in your world that says, “Take time to smell the flowers.” It is true. You are in a world of escalated energies and all of you have the feeling of what you call the “rat race.” Take time to be. It is most important.

If things are not as you like them, accept that it is all right for things not to be all right. Do not say, “This misery is going to be mine. It is going to be part of me.” Instead work at being a point of light in that so-called dark situation. Remember that how a situation is judged — good or bad — is very often based on the viewpoint.

The Power Is Within You

In recent months there has been plenty of comment and discussion about the radical shift in universal energy that can and will bring change to our world. Nevertheless we must remember that this shift is not just to be passively waited upon; it requires us as light workers to accept and use this same new energy within us as a positive transformational force within our space. In this period of high and quickly shifting energy we can easily feel a sense of confusion or bewilderment when we try to figure out the next step. Even if our emotions can cloud an issue, Julian reminded us that the power to change the energy in any space resided within us:

“You exude energy. It is that energy which changes the atmosphere around you. The only way the atmosphere around you can be changed is within you. If you do not take the first step in you, it can never happen in the atmosphere around you. Remember, that as you change your thought pattern and your energy, you are influencing the energy of the person next to you. At that point they are influencing the people around them and soon you have a room full of changed energies. It is important for you to realize the power within you to change you, which in turn changes that which is around you. There can be no more important thing for you to understand than the God-given ability to create change from with the self.” *

Julian went on to say that one of the prime keys to change the energy within us is to be vulnerable. This may sound odd at first however Julian said, “If you are going to interact with the whole self or another, the first thing you have to do is be willing to take a chance, be willing to reach out, and be willing to be vulnerable. Being vulnerable, believe it or not, can be a lot of fun. It does not always have to be bad. Remember, the only thing that can change the space you are in is you.” *

As the universal energies evolve it permits each one of us to evolve and stretch so we can better know and share our inner strengths. Your soul was created from the fabric of that same universal energy and light, so when you direct your inner energy from light, the universal energy evolves and grows, too.

God is my source of all supply

Julian freely offered affirmations for the asking.  Although the affirmations were to scope many topics there was one constant:  Always, an affirmation began, “God is my source of all supply…”  
One of Julian’s core messages as a seraph was to continually confirm our relationship with the Creator.  No matter what we chose or desired to do the first step was to affirm that partnership with Spirit because it will connect us to all possibilities and show us to what we truly need.  When this connection is acknowledged, affirmed and held as a certainty from within, then we can let our intellectual mind create the necessary steps to achieve our goal.

If you are in a circumstance where you have questions or doubts just halt that flow of thinking – even for a moment – and affirm: God is my source of all supply.

Bless, Bless, Bless.

Julian’s cornerstone statement: “Meditation is the key to all awareness,” reminds us that our direct connection and wisdom to Spirit comes only when we go within to that quiet space. When we bless - a self-directed action - we create this same space by acknowledging the Creator’s presence for a person or situation.  Our intellect may not be able to understand why an event happens or see its outcome, but by blessing it we affirm God’s presence knowing all things are within Spirit.

We are in a time of challenging and stressful circumstances and events for many people.  Within those challenging moments we can easily feel powerless.  When you find yourself thinking those thoughts, consciously bless it — repeatedly, if necessary. Consciously blessing a person or situation creates an energy release from your spirit.  When you bless, it affirms you used your free will to affect positive change rejecting the consciousness of victimization and fear. Spirit will manifest far more productive outcomes than anything our intellect can conceive. Only through allowing spirit into a space can substantive change bring a person or situation highest good. Once we acknowledge this truth and then act upon it, manifestation occurs.

The advances in technology allow us to continually receive news, entertainment and information from the media.  We can be overwhelmed and imposed upon by images from war and natural disasters, political posturing or the latest rantings of personalities.  Bless it.  Even if we disagree with the person, politics or philosophy: Bless it.

There may be uncertainties with your job or needs within your circle of family and friends.  It may demoralize you, but bless it.

And most importantly, remember to bless yourself.  You are a divine child of God.
