I think all of us remember September 2001…
The Gathering of Light was planned on September 28 through 30, and was most definitely ~ at least somewhat ~ overshadowed by the events of 9/11. Events so severe that not only did it need all of our attention; it needed the full, focused attention of the Angelic Realms as well.
So. where we were all looking forward to gain Julian’s perspective on what had happened, June told us later that she was really hoping Julian would be available, as he had not been with her since the attack on the twin towers.
As it turns out, Julian did come to the Gathering of Light.
Looking at my notes of that Gathering, Julian’s comments were, as always, enlightening:
“The year 2001 is a year of eruption in order to bring things that need to be looked at to the surface. Those are things that were created by attitudes over years; things that were created by every type of judgement; things that were created by every inconsiderate action from everybody in the Universe.”
“These things need to be looked at because in this age, hatred will not be tolerated! It will self destruct, be eliminated or nature will intervene.”
Julian also gave us five important things to remember when we want to help after any incident; being it one on a world-scale, or one in more personal spheres…
Julian: When you want to help:
- Do not become the incident.
- Know that you can help.
- Create normalcy. In order to do so, you start with bringing back normalcy into your own life.
- Step into your Highest counterpart, the Light of yourself, and you will react properly.
- Laugh!! As laughter is a very important healing tool.
One line really stuck in my head at the time, and immediately jumped out again as I was reading my notes:
~ Don’t wait for something grandiose to happen ~ simply say: “Bless our world”. ~

Dear Gathering of Light Team,
Thank you so much for sharing this message from Julian! It speaks very deeply to me right now after a critical incident happened with a group of friends this past weekend. My efforts to return normalcy to the situation were questioned; as if doing so diminished the criticalness of the event. This affirmed my response to me, which although not required for me to follow my soul's urge, was really wonderful!
It takes time and effort to research appropriate Julian material to share. I appreciate your doing so. This article has made a difference in my life. It also helps to root within how to handle crises in the future.
Can't wait to see you all at The Gathering. The connections we make at these sustain me in many ways all year long.
Those who are on the fence about coming — I urge you to join us. Friendships with kindred folks are strengthened and new ones made. Inspiration, new persective, fresh approaches are all there to be gained from. Yes, this is a tight year financially for many of us. Yet, I've found my investment returned many fold in attending The Gatherings.
